Day 14 - Monday (27 February) started out as a windy light rainy day. As the day progressed, the sun came out. It felt good to be in the natural sunshine. Late afternoon, I attempted to take Roxie and Checkers for a short walk. Roxie decided to go for a jog that Checkers nor I could keep up with. I cut the whole thing short and returned to the house. I feel better than the day before, but I am not ready to go for a run. Walking back up the hill to the house was tiring. At the start of the day my Temp was 96.4 - Oximeter read 93/94 and my pulse was 58. The oxygen level is down from 96/97. Perhaps I am over reacting, but I was concerned. A few sneezes, periodic cough with phlegm and runny nose is probably related to my sinuses on this windy day. The mucus is thinner and less by volume. The OTC meds are the same. The Hudson RCI 4000 VOLOYNE Volumetric Exerciser (spirometer) finally arrived today. It does not look like the one I ordered, but I will keep it. The instructional video was helpful.

Breakfast: crispy bacon-grits - egg and almond milk. Lunch: Salmon croquette -rice - green peas. Dinner: Yoplait cherry yogurt with pecans chips. Snack: mini-cinnamon bun. Fluids: bottled water - Chamomile tea with lemon and honey - a few swallows of Sprite - Cranberry/tart cherry juice

Read Bible Study notes for Job 35-40. You are invited to join us on Tuesday at 12:30pm or Wednesday at 6pm via the Mendingvessels.com website. Click the "virtual meeting" button. Sent out reminder text messages to class attendees. Emailed prospective speaker for St. John's Women's Day. Coordinated with the CFI Group Leader for a virtual meeting on Wednesday. Mourned the loss of a very young lady, found dead in a boarding house. There is much work to be done. My prayer is that God will heal me and restore my strength to work in the vineyard. Friends and family called to caution me from trying to do too much too soon. Tonight I am going to sleep in the recliner.
