Murder in Daylight

Almost two weeks and I am still trying to find the words. "My daddy changed the world," his young daughter said, as she was sitting on the shoulders of his friend. Precious little girl will grow up without a father because he was murdered in daylight. A policeman had him pinned face down with his knee on his neck for eight minutes and 46 seconds. The video of this heinous crime has been view around the world through social media. This is not the first time a Black man has been killed by a policeman in front of witnesses, but this was different. Hearing George Floyd plead for his life and the cynical response of the killer horrific. A scared looking young policeman looked on. Later it would be known from other videos that two others held him down.

The killer was not arrested until the protests broke out. Insurgents desperately tried to turn the peaceful protests into violent riots. Bad cops continued to commit crimes against humanity, even up until today. An elderly White man was pushed down by a cop and suffered a head injury. The sight of him lying on the side walk with blood at his head was a stark reminder of the hatred that exist in the hearts of many. It is scary to know that the very people who are paid to protect the people are the enemy. It's even scarier to know that the man in the Highest Office of the Land incites this violence on a regular basis. Peaceful protesters were shot with tear gas and "rubber" bullets to push back the crowd so that he could have a photo op in front of a church holding a Bible.
