Looking to Christmas

Thanksgiving has come and gone. I trust you had a blessed time with friends and family. My family came up to visit. I did ALL of the cooking. Everything turned out great. The turkey was moist, the sweet potato pies were off the chart, not to mention the lasagna and mac & cheese. I have finally arrived int the cooking department. More than the great food, we were thankful to be celebrating four generations of blessings. Mom gave the entire event her stamp of approval.

Now we turn our eyes towards Christmas. We will approach the celebration of the birth day of Jesus Christ with simplicity and grace. It is not about how many gifts we receive. It is about giving of ourselves to humankind. Remember the reason for the season.
